Wedding Videographer and Cinematographer San Diego CA

Hi everyone, Sky here. Well as some of you know I was in Perth Australia recently finishing up some weddings, as I have recently relocated countries and become a San Diego wedding videographer and photographer.
October and November I had to return to Australia as I had 5 weddings booked back in Western Australia, and at the last minute Sam + Dave had to move their wedding forward from April 2016 to December 2015 in order to secure the amazing venue of Faversham House for their wedding day! Sam contacted me 2 days after I had already booked my flights back to California, but I was happy to change my flight to shoot their wedding, and I’m so glad Sam + Dave gave me that opportunity!

Sam + Dave were married at gorgeous Faversham House in York, Western Australia.
Both Sam and Dave prepared for their big day at Faversham House, in separate quarters.
It ended up being a stormy day, with lots of heavy hailstones, so the ceremony was moved from the gardens to the ballroom.
Esther Bliss marriage celebrant did an amazing job with the vows as usual.
There was time for a few photographs outside before the reception in the marquee. Everyone had an amazing time over a lovely dinner which was followed by some heart warming speeches. I took the bride and groom into the house at night for some extra shots which is how the piano scene and the bedroom scenes play into it all.
Below is the highlight clip which I hope you will love!

I have to say that after I edit the main segments of a wedding, I can never imagine exactly how the highlight will turn out. Of course I shoot different shots with intention, and I usually have some ideas, but when you’re talking about a short film with so many clips covering so many parts of somebodys journey, and wanting to share and show their love story in the best way possible, it’s impossible to really see the end result until it’s completed, and here it is. This highlight clip itself took 8 solid hours (once the rest of the video was edited) and I loved every minute of it, watching the story unfold. So now it’s your turn to watch the story unfold, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I would love to hear your comments below, and thank you so much Sam + Dave for allowing me to document your special day.
xoxo Sky Simone
