How many hours do I need for my Atlanta Wedding Photography?
10-14 Hours
Most of my weddings over the last 14 years have chosen 10-14 hours of wedding day coverage and have included multiple locations to really maximize their potential for spectacular, epic, and breathtaking wedding day imagery. Splitting the middle and having 12 hours of wedding day coverage allows plenty of time for beautiful and creative portraits as well as plenty of candid images of the unfolding events. After all, this day is once in a lifetime and there are no retakes.
8 Hours
8 hour packages are suited to the more conservative couple who aren’t having a full wedding reception. Typically it would include preparation coverage, a short time for portraits after or before the wedding ceremony, reception entry, mock cake cutting and a few staged dancing shots.
Multi Day Coverage
Multi day coverage is offered for ethnic weddings including South East Asian weddings, Chinese and Jewish ceremonies, and multi day Indian weddings.
Individual hours may be added for $400 per hour for one, or $600 per hour for 2 photographers.

A ‘Stop Motion Wedding Animation Film‘ is several thousand images strategically and artistically taken on your wedding day to create a unique film to share forever.
The dictionary describes animation as “the technique of photographing successive drawings or positions of puppets or models to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence.”

So how does Sky work together with the couple on a wedding day to create beautiful wedding photographs? Firstly Sky identifies that each and every couple is different and unique, and something that demonstrates this individuality should be expressed in the imagery. Sky has questions she asks her couples, and she encourages her couples to engage in brainstorming their individual characteristics and intricacy.
When Sky works together with a couple, the way she usually goes about doing things is mixing a bunch of styles to create a truely epic documentation of their your lives together. The styles that Sky mixes together when she’s either working alone or with a team combines a combination of techniques. Carefully choosing locations with the client, lighting for the environment, capturing the quirky and interesting, as well as the fun and crazy, and focusing on getting all of the solid classic photographs that stand the test of time.
I will be encouraging my couples to create “Dream Board PinBoards” and will do a blog post shortly to demonstrate this. Sky encourages her couples to pin their ideas and dreams to pinterest, not because she doesn’t have enough ideas of her own, but rather on the contrary.. Sky has such an abundance of ideas racing through her mind, and gets very excited about all of them. However Sky likes to know what YOU as a couple desire to achieve, as it’s your wedding day. Having a dream board helps you communicate exactly what the feel and style that you like the most encompasses.
When you book your wedding photography (or video, or both) with Sky Simone during the intial consultation we talk about everything that’s on your mind, and everything that you know about your wedding so far.
When Sky sit’s down with a couple, the first thing she asks is “So tell me everything you know so far, about your wedding!”
When we get together again it’s usually for your engagement photo session. Depending on how long you book your wedding photography before the wedding, Sky likes to do the engagement session at least 4-6 months before the wedding. The engagement session is important because it helps us to get to know eachother. Your wedding is not a production line, and the utmost of care should be taken with YOU as a couple, as well as your photography. Most people naturally take a little time to warm up to the camera and relax. You won’t see Sky Simone setting an alarm and telling you the photoshoot is over. Sky wants to bring you out of your shell, make you laugh, get emotionally, and really capture what’s so captivating about you. This process also helps to create more natural images on the wedding day, as you’re more relaxed with your photographer.
Finally in the weeks leading up to the wedding, we would usually catch up together again to go over your run-times for the day, any locations we’re going to for photos, and of course your dream board.

Can I have photography and videography?
Yes. Sky Simone actually started out in video before adding photography to her business. We can do photography and video combined, or photography only, or video only.
How many photos will you provide?
I provide an unlimited amount of wedding images to my couples. I edit all of the photographs that I take, and only delete photos that are eithe rout of focus, or really unflattering expressions which as a general rule will only be around 30/1000 images. Most of my couples enjoy around 2000 images but I do not guaruntee a specific amount as it depends on the wedding. Couples that take advice on my wedding timelines and add hours are likely to recive more images than couples with short time limits.
WIll I get all of my photos?
Photos are provided edited via a digital download gallery link.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. $2million liablity insurance is required by many venues.
How Long Have You Been Documenting Weddings?
I documented my first wedding in March 2007.
Will My Photographs be Edited?
All images provided to clients are edited. Color corrected and contrast adjusted.
How Long Will you Keep My Wedding Photos?
We keep a copy of all of our edited work forever. Your Atlanta Wedding Photography will be safe with me.

I usually blog over 100 images per wedding so that I can easily show you consistency in my work, as well as the broad array of classic to crazy wedding pictures.
