Katelyn + Jeremy got married at San Juan Capistrano at a little cliff overlook by the beach in Southern California. The day started off with me arriving at Katelyn + Jeremy’s hotel room. I had asked them if they were going to get ready together, or apart like tradition. Katelyn + Jeremy chose to get ready together in the same hotel room as it was a small and unique fun wedding. Before you get suprised by the photos, I should tell you that Katelyn’s best friend from her teen years had promised Katelyn to be her guy bridesmaid, and when he gets married, she’ll wear a suit and be a groomsman, and so he followed through and wore a dress with the other bridesmaid! I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them.
There wasn’t any room in the hotel room to hang the dress, so I took it outside and hung it over sound railings near a palm tree.I just love the red shoes that match the sash.
Since I wore Converse Chucks to my own wedding in Las Vegas, I’m a little bias, and very happy that Jeremy opted for Converse Chucks for his wedding day.
“and the shoe fits, you must be Cinderella!”
If ever there was a bridal party to laugh at some silly poop jokes it surely was this one. Take a closer look at the book they’re reading!
So once everyone was dressed and ready, we headed down to San Juan Capistrano beach to take some bridal party portraits as well as bride and groom photographs.
I literally handed Jeremy a note and said “drop the money to the street performers and start dancing!” and they did.
Then we headed down the boardwalk for a romantic stroll….
These above photographs remind me a little of a mix of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, a Devo music video, and a Beatles music video đ
Since skateboarding is prohibited on California beach boardwalks, Jeremy had to pretend like he was doing some tricks to impress Katelyn.

And every crazy wedding needs there “we’re off to see the Wizard” skipping and laughing wedding photograph!
I picked up some Hubba Bubba bubblegum at one of the stores at the San Juan Capistrano pier and asked the bride, groom, bridesmaid, and groomsman to blow as big a bubble as they could. Katelyn wasn’t overly confident in her bubble blowing but I think they all did rather well.
So then we went under the boardwalk.
