I’m often asked “what is your favourite type of photoshoot?”, and while weddings are a lot of fun, I just feel you can’t beat ‘Trash the Dress’ photoshoots. They’re so much fun! Katelyn and Jeremy were so excited about the idea of trash the dress, that they went wedding dress shopping for a trash the dress dress. Katelyn didn’t want to trash her real wedding day dress, and so she bought another one! Usually a trash the dress shoot would be after the wedding, but we photographed this one the day before the big day on account of Jeremy and Katelyn having to fly in from Iowa. I hope you love these photographs as much as I loved taking them. Video to come soon.
Asking brides and grooms and other people to run through squabbles of seagulls is one of my favourite things! Jeremy and Katelyn did this really well.
Here’s a photograph of me with the bride and groom! I used to get asked all the time “How do I know you really took these photographs?” so since 2012 I’ve made sure I ge ta photo of me with each of my couples.
“Now roll around in the sand guys.. just like Madonna in the Cherish video!”
