I cannot express how much fun this shoot was. Kimberly + Richard brought their pooch to the wedding ceremony. When couples want to incorporate a pet into their wedding ceremony the usual protocol that Kim and Richard followed is to designate one of the friends/relative guests to pick up the beloved pet and bring them to the ceremony. I took these photographs immediately after the ceremony because their little doggy had to go home and rest.
and of course here’s my favourite lying down shot, with poochy too!

then we jumped onto the techno charter bus to go to the photoshoot locations between the wedding ceremony and wedding reeption.
What I love best about photographing Kimberly is it really doesn’t take much effort to get her laughing.
I’m sure we’ve all seen those awkward family photos, well I just wanted to have a play around with the idea of all the girls lying in a pile. Sure it’s a little awkward but it was totally fun and makes for a fu shot not everyone is going to have in their family wedding album.
I love this shot of Kim laying on the ground by herself. Look at the beautiful detailing on her wedding dress.
Kimberly wanted me to try this shot from a Starwars scene that I hadn’t seen.. I hope it’s what you were looking for Kim!

Of course I always find time for the romantic bride and groom photographs. <3
Then I got the bridal party to march across the photo crazily.
“word”
I wanted a shot of the boys with that ‘we’re in a band’ type feeling.
Then they wandered through the vineyard. #weddingwineryphotos
I think this next shot is one of my favourite photographs from the wedding.
So I was kind of like “Let’s get some wedding photos with the Llamas! that will be awesome” and Richard said “I think they might be aggressive, or frightened of us” and I said “well let’s just go slowly and see how close we can get!”
And then this crazy bird decided that we were predators and was trying to attack us! It was actually quite scary, but hilarious at the same time. These birds are usually pretty relaxed.
