I had the pleasure of photographing Meg + Troys wedding in December 2012. I’m actually photographing Meg’s brother Lachlains wedding this month at Yanchep National Park, and that’s actually one of the 7 weddings that I’ve flown from California back to Perth to shoot. While I am visiting Australia from California, I caught up with Meg + Troy to do some photographs of their beautiful new baby.
Meg had organized to get a couple of little baby outfits from eBay in the month leading up tot he shoot, and the little pink turtle outfit was one of them.
Meg also did a little bit of research into the best conditions for baby photographs, and had the heater on in the room that we were taking photographs in. She also timed the feeding times so that their little baby would be sleepy at the time that we were taking photographs.
I love how these baby photographs turned out!
The above photograph is their darling baby being photographed in a little crochet’s beanie and nappy.
Now here is baby wrapped in a blanket. She looks totally cute, but at the same time is reminding me of a star shaped character or some sort of colorful starry cereal!
So then she got all dolled up in her ballerina costume.. Spent hours on her hair in the mirror for this shot 😉
She decided the adults were too boring.. Eating your own petticoat is far more appealing.
“Mommy when are you going to stop making me perform for this photographer lady?”

Meg found this turtle costume on ebay, and her little baby looked absolutely gorgeous in it.
