Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Montez and Aaron’s Coronado Island Engagement Shoot. Quite often it’s the grooms that are camera shy and afraid of being photographed. I definitely didn’t have that issue with Aaron. I’m sure you can tell from even the first couple of photos just how much he quite enjoys being in front of the camera. I just love this maxi dress that Montez wore, it made for a gorgeous choice. We wandered around the island taking photos in different places that had significant meaning to them. 

I think these jetty shots are my favorites…. Wait.. Americans say “pier” right? 🙂

I didn’t need to tell Aaron twice where to place his hand for this photo!

So we did a costume change and photographer swap… Aaron took over this photo-shoot…. Couldn’t stop taking photos of his fiance. Every guy should be like this right?

Coronado Island Engagement Shoot

This is the Hotel Del Coronado, and the Coronado Beach in front. In case you don’t know this is where the 50’s Marilyn Monroe movie ‘Some Like it Hot’ was filmed with Tony Curtis. It looks different in color. (The movie was black and white)
