It’s been a busy year for me, so I guess I may have missed the worlds news and updates!

Would you believe I had no idea that a new Star Wrs movie was being released?
No idea at all! 2014 I photographed Jason + Kirstys wedding and something I love to talk to my brides and grooms about is how we can incorporate parts of their personal life into their engagement and wedding photographs to make their images best represent who they are as a couple.
Kirsty and Jason are very into pop culture (much like myself! Which is why we got along so well!) and of course Jason is into Star Wars! When I asked what household items they might like to bring along to their wedding for portraits, Jason asked if it would be ok to bring his Stormtrooper helmet, to which I got excited and said YES!!

There are more wedding photographs from Kirsty + Jasons wedding on my facebook photography page, but I also wanted to share a family photograph I took just last month of Kirsty, Jason, and their kids. Of course the stormtrooper helmet made it into my favorite of their family portraits!
