Belinda + Kim were married in a hall, and organized their own caterers. A hall is a great way to have a little more control over your own decorating and timeline without the limitations that some venues place on the times of speeches, dinner, dancing and so fourth.
Don’t you just love the black and white sparkly curtains with the fairy lights behind? I love the gold custom lettering on the bridal table too.

During a wedding reception, I love to take the bride and groom outside for a few more shots with a studio light. The bridesmaids were all keen to do this “we’ve just been sprung partying on the lawn” shot!

And of course I couldn’t help myself. I had to do a family portrait with everyone laying on her beautiful wedding dress…
The next two photographs remind me of ‘Captain Planet’.. “When our powers combine…”
And of course some nice romantic shots of the bride and groom together. My inspiration for these types of shots is very ‘Old Hollywood’.
And now for the formalities..
It’s hard to keep Kim + Belinda from laughing, even during formalities like the speeches and the cake cutting.
