I hear this from brides with smaller weddings sometimes, and let me tell you that you have nothing to worry about. I love to get to know my couples to find out what makes them unique, and incorporate that into the photographs. There is always a way to make your photos more “you” without you having to have a huge wedding.

It doesn’t matter if you’re having an elopement with no guests. I have many brides and grooms that elope in Las Vegas by themselves, and they still put together beautiful detailed items to customize their wedding as much as possible. The details help make it more uniquely you.

5. You don’t want to be posed.

Nobody likes standing around stiffly while somebody else tells them to move their chin, their flowers, and stop breathing for 10 minutes. But slight direction and encouragement are an integral part of photography. Your ceremony and reception will for the most part be candid, but your beautiful and romantic and fun shots are most likely going to be guided with a little direction.

6. You don’t like color. In a world where wedding photographers are desaturating their photos and turning bold and vibrant greens into faded mint colors, my photographs are an explosion of fun + beautifully detailed colors.
